I've seen Augustana twice live with Counting Crows, and I must say they sound much different than in the studio albums. Dan definitely sounds like he has much more of a "twang", I'll call it, to his voice. It's like some crazy Tom Petty-esque tone that sounds freaking awesome. I love the tone and extended guitar riffs of Augustana live! They really need to release a live album or make some live material available for distribution somewhere online. Please!!!
