Show at Mohegan Sun's Wolf Den
Augustana is a secret too well kept. Here was an intimate free setting that was not filled and unfortuately, many that were there that clearly didn't appreciate it as they were probably there only because they were at the casino for Labor Day weekedn and the show was free.
For those of us that did get it, it was very disappointing that I didn't think the crowd didn't show the band the love they desired. The show was great. Keep up guys. There are many of us that love you.

I definitely would have gone to the show if I knew about it. I've seen Augustana 4 times during their tours with the Counting Crows and think they're great. I would love to see a headlining show. They should keep this site updated with all of their dates. Is there another place to check for accurate tour dates?
They need to hire a PR person. There is very little contact with their fans - who knew they were even booked at Mohegan Sun? This site says the're booked in Birmingham AL but if you go to the club site, there is someone else booked. There is nothing here to explain this. When is their new album scheduled to be released? No info on that either. You would expect they would have a tour scheduled. Their management sucks - I bet they don't even have management. It's too bad, they're very talented and I'd bet would be successful if they work a bit on promotion. Their only promo is an occasional twitter. Look at this site - it's deserted. I bet the band never even looks at it. How do they expect the fans to get excited and come see them when it appears they don't give a crap. I only heard of them through their touring with Counting Crows - if they want to see how to generate and excite a fan base, they should go look at Michael Franti's website (another band I became a fan of through touring with Counting Crows) - it's the difference between an alive band and a dead band. Go to Youtube and you'll see tons of people covering Augustana tunes - there is potential for this band, if they'd just get their crap together and stop hiding from their fans.
