So who's excited for the High Noon Saloon show tonight?

I can't believe I just heard about this show. So, I scooped up two tickets online and they'll be waiting for me at the door. I live about 1 1/2 hours north of Madison, so I will be cruising on down after class today. I've only seen Augustana once and that's when they opened for CC in Milwaukee a few years ago I believe it was. Love both of their albums. The new one is fantastic. I love the cover.

Can't wait to see you guys tonight, hopefully I can get into my usual spot there. I saw Josh Ritter right up front and had my beer practically right on their piano. lol.

I have to say that was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Dan reminds me of a cross between a young Bruce Springsteen with the beard and Jakob Dylan with the posture and the way he holds the guitar. I've been so close to the band before. This place was really small, The High Noon Saloon, and we were right up next to the stage practically on the right side. Dan was on the floor singing lyrics that were blowing my mind. He really does throw in alt. lyrics much like Adam from Counting Crows does. That's a really awesome thing that I love.

Great setlist. A little bit of the old and little bit of the new stuff. Plus they did a cover I believe while standing on the bar playing acoustically. They really liked the acoustic thing because they did it 3 times with this old school mic in the middle of them. I loved every minute of this show. Plenty of space to dance and have a good time, plus great beer was flowing out of the tap. Amazing night. Thank you guys for coming to Madison. I hope you can come back again.

Take care of that leg Dan. I hope your OK man. I really do because you took a bad little spill there it looked like.
