Hey guys I love your songs but not many people know about you in Slovakia I just wanted to know if you are planning some euro - concerts and if you have also Slovakia listed it would be great to see you live.

having arrived from San Francisco, I was thrilled to hear that you were playing this soldout show. we came early and were able to get tickets, my best Christmas present! sadly, the audience was so rude and never shut up!! I was front and center and could hear you somewhat, but I wanted to hear a pin drop when you played. I love you guys acoustic, but I guess the crowd just wanted to rock out with the pretenders. I'm glad you didn't give up and only wished your set had been longer, Thank you for a great show, your voices are so beautiful together and you were the hilight of the evening despite the noisy crowd.

...that HAS to be the weirdest show you've ever done. Put between Amos Lee and The Pretenders, playing totally acoustic to a noisy crowd with one mic that barely picked up anything and produced feedback if pushed. I'm not sure I've ever seen (in 44 years of seeing concerts) a band play under more difficult circumstances.

A few years ago Rickie Lee Jones played the same show, under better circumstances (at least SHE was mic'ed) and she walked off stage after three songs because she couldn't be heard over the crowd. You guys got more quiet than I thought possible, and even some singing along. From where I was (front row of the balcony), it was too often inaudible, but it was clear that you were doing your best.

You played a well chosen (if spontaneously chosen) set. Band members who had nothing to do, due to the circumstances, still came out to sing or just "show up". Again, very professional and considerate to your audience (whom I not sure all deserved it!). For what it's worth, the broadcast version that went out live sounded infinitely better than the mix at the venue. I'm sure there was no way for you to know that at the time, and you obviously DID know how crappy the show conditions were.

Your blog posts are WAY out of date. Would you please post about this show? What had you expected? When did you know the circumstances you'd have to work under? Couldn't someone have gotten you 4 mics? Couldn't someone have found a way to amplify your acoustic guitars? Couldn't you have contractually walked? (I'm so very glad you didn't!!) Thank you for efforts. It was a very impressive display of musical chops and great professionalism.
